Travis Kamm has been in the golf industry since he was 14 years old. A graduate of Ferris State University's PGA Golf Management program, he has always had a genuine passion for golf — and for golf instruction in particular. Before becoming an owner, Travis spent the majority of his career as a well-known PGA Teaching Professional in Traverse City.
When the former Traverse City Golf Center went up for sale, Travis and his wife, Melissa, saw an opportunity to put his expertise to work on a larger scale and serve even more golfers in the Traverse City area. In August 2022 those plans came to fruition, and the Traverse City Golf Performance Center was born with a clear mission: to be Northern Michigan's Home for Game Improvement, and to give golfers everything golf off the course, for the course.
Today, Traverse City Golf Performance Center and TC Golf Performance East together offer 11 indoor Trackman bays, extensive clubfitting, five PGA Professionals, an outdoor practice facility, the Trackman Range and The Deck, The Rooster 6-hole short course, club repair, 24/7 member access, and more.
Outside of golf, Travis enjoys spending time with his wife, Melissa, their son, Peyton, daughter, Lacey, and their dog, Champ. Travis is grateful for the support of the Traverse City community and strives to keep serving Northern Michigan golfers for years to come.
In addition to being a proud member of the PGA for over 25 years, Roger has become well-known and respected throughout Northern Michigan as a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Golf Instructor. Roger brings a wealth of experience to his teaching through his years as Head Golf Professional at Shanty Creek Resort, Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center, and Traverse City Golf & Country Club. For years he served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Michigan PGA and as Co-Chair of the Michigan PGA Growth of the Game Committee.
As a highly trained expert in video instruction, motion measurements, and golf ball data, Roger utilizes video and the Trackman 4 to quickly gain the ball and club data needed for immediate feedback to analyze and diagnose with confidence. As part of his holistic approach to improving your golf game Roger, as a Master Clubfitter, offers club fitting to match you with the ideal clubs and shaft for your swing. Proper club fitting is a critical step toward taking your game to the next level. From beginner to scratch golfer, Roger will focus on strength training, swing speed, and golf swing analysis to improve your swing and score.
Collin Hampton is a PGA Teaching Professional and a graduate of Ferris State’s Professional Golf Management Program. He is a Trackman-Certified Professional, a SportsBox 3D Golf Certified Coach, and a SuperSpeed Certified Coach with over 3000 lessons of experience.
Collin enjoys teaching the game to players of all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced golfers. He combines technical data from TrackMan and 3D motion capture software to provide effective and easy-to-follow instruction to help golfers improve quickly. Every student is different, therefore Collin provides personalized coaching plans to his clients based on their goals. He offers full swing and short game instruction as well as on-course playing lessons to help his students transfer their improvement from the range to the course.
Sportsbox AI utilizes the latest methods in Computer Vision and Deep Learning to provide 3D analysis of complex movements in real time. This unique technology can capture, measure, and analyze complex athletic motions in three dimensions. Combine this tech with Collin’s knowledge and experience and students have some serious real-time corrective feedback to improve their golf games faster and more efficiently than ever.
Danielle is a PGA Professional and graduate of the Ferris State University Professional Golf Management Program. During her time at Ferris State, she worked for The First Tee of Northern Michigan in Harbor Springs, The Country Club of Detroit, and Fiddlesticks Country Club in Fort Myers where she started developing her skills in lessons, clinics, and leagues. She also spent time at the Detroit Golf Club where she continued teaching and helped with the Rocket Mortgage tournament.
Danielle really enjoys teaching and watching players grow their skills. She uses video feedback and lesson reviews to help her students learn and grow. She has advanced knowledge of the golf swing and offers lessons and clinics for all skill levels and aspects of the game. She is super helpful in transferring skills learned in the center into on-course applications.
Nathan Beachey is a graduate of Ferris State University’s PGA Golf Management Program, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business 2025.
Nathan’s experience includes coaching and club fitting at GOLFTEC, as well as time at premier facilities like Whistling Straits, Calderone Golf Club, and SMART Golf & Fitness Instruction. He has worked with golfers of all skill levels, including developing junior players and helping them build a strong foundation in both fundamentals and confidence.
Nathan utilizes advanced technology and performance-based assessments to deliver a highly individualized coaching experience. His teaching philosophy is centered on simplicity and clarity—cutting through unnecessary complexity to help players understand their swing and make meaningful, lasting improvements. By matching the golf swing to how each player’s body moves, he helps golfers develop efficient, repeatable motions they can trust on the course.
