MEET ROGER BLISS.
In addition to being a proud member of the PGA for over 25 years, Roger has become well-known and respected throughout Northern Michigan as a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Golf Instructor. Roger brings a wealth of experience to his teaching through his years as Head Golf Professional at Shanty Creek Resort, Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center, and Traverse City Golf & Country Club. For years he served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Michigan PGA and as Co-Chair of the Michigan PGA Growth of the Game Committee.
As a highly trained expert in video instruction, motion measurements, and golf ball data, Roger utilizes video and the Trackman 4 to quickly gain the ball and club data needed for immediate feedback to analyze and diagnose with confidence. As part of his holistic approach to improving your golf game Roger, as a Master Clubfitter, offers club fitting to match you with the ideal clubs and shaft for your swing. Proper club fitting is a critical step toward taking your game to the next level. From beginner to scratch golfer, Roger will focus on strength training, swing speed, and golf swing analysis to improve your swing and score.

Full driving range with target greens? Got it. Putting Green? Got it. Chipping Green? Yup, we have that too. Do you need to work on your bunker play? We have bunkers. Uneven lies? No worries. Let’s just say that if there is a part of your game that needs work, we have a spot for that.
Not enough good news? Ok, we have more… Our facilities are currently receiving a major upgrade/renovation. All the stuff that makes the Traverse City Golf Performance Center so great is getting even better!

All the cool stuff you can do outside, you can do inside too. We have private indoor teaching bays that any of our professional golf instructors can utilize to bring you the best possible learning experience. Each private teaching bay is equipped with TrackMan 4, video equipment, and large display screens. All of your scoring records are in danger.

Weather got you down? We are here to lift you back up. Golf is a year-round affair here at the Traverse City Golf Performance Center. We have a large indoor putting green surrounded by chipping areas. The view? A sea of private TrackMan 4 hitting bays and a comfortable lounge. We don’t have a bunker inside but don’t think we aren’t wild enough to add one… hmmm…
